We periodically deprecate older features in favor of newer, more robust alternatives. This page documents deprecated features and provides migration guides to help you transition smoothly.

Knowledge Base Nodes

We are transitioning from our older data loader nodes to dedicated Knowledge Base nodes that provide better performance and more features. The following nodes are being deprecated:

The new Knowledge Base nodes offer several advantages:

  • Reusability between workflows, reducing time spent uploading documents
  • Powerful role-based access control that allows you to control who sees your documents
  • Dedicated Knowledge Base Dashboard for managing your knowledge bases
  • Checkboxes to select specific files in a knowledge base to query in a workflow
  • Greater visibility on syncing status and errors
  • More powerful file picker for connecting to your third party data

We recommend migrating to the new Knowledge Base nodes for the best experience. The older nodes will continue functioning but won’t receive new features or updates.

Docs + Search Node

The Documents + Search node is deprecated and will be removed in a future releases. Please migrate to the new Knowledge Base Documents node for continued support and new features.

The Documents + Search node is being deprecated in favor of our newer Knowledge Base nodes. The Documents + Search node will continue to function but we recommend migrating to the new Documents node:

How to Migrate

To migrate from Documents + Search:

  1. Add one of the new Knowledge Base nodes to your workflow
  2. Upload your documents to the new node
  3. Update any connections to use the new node
  4. Remove the old Documents + Search node

The Documents + Search node will remain functional but will not receive new features or updates. We strongly recommend migrating to the new nodes for the best experience.
