We're thrilled to announce our oversubscribed Seed Round, and thought of using this opportunity to share Stack AI's journey, who our investors are, and the why behind Stack AI.
Our Journey
The idea behind Stack AI began during our PhD studies at MIT, while we were meeting with industry leaders to understand the initiatives taken to embrace AI. To our dismay, the adoption of the newest algorithms in AI was at best too slow, and at worst inexistent in some industries.
Right after our PhD defenses' in December 2022, we embarked on a journey to remedy the situation, and flew from Boston to SF to join Y Combinator (YC), the prestigious startup accelerator known for guiding Dropbox, Stripe, Airbnb, and many others from inception to reality.
With YC on our side, and in particular thanks to our YC mentors - Nicolas Dessaigne, Tom Blomfield, Richard Aberman, and Michael Siebel - we learned the way successful startups operate, and also launched, in just 14 days, our very first product.

Thus, Stack AI was born. Within weeks, we on-boarded our first 10 customers, who instantly connected with Stack AI's core tenet: powerful enterprise-grade AI solutions that can be deployed within minutes and without coding - no barrier of entry, no friction.
Since launching, we've welcomed hundreds of companies, from Startups to Public Companies, and have formed long-lasting partnerships. We are proud of having over 40,000 users in our platform, building and deploying AI Assistants, Search Engines, Chatbots, and Workflow Automations, connecting securely to their data, while unlocking its value.
Our Vision
We are at a tipping point in history where foundational AI models are showing promise beyond what was expected in academic circles. With our team of exceptional engineers and PhDs, we are crafting a product that uniquely leverages the strengths of these AI models to maximize productivity, streamline processes, and deliver value beyond what was possible merely months ago. Our platform will enable both novices and experts to harness AI's full potential, while leveraging data for optimal results.
We have an ambitious roadmap ahead of us, and a ton of innovations to bring to the market. Alongside our talented community of partners and customers, we're on track to become the go-to choice for deploying AI solutions. We see Stack AI as the Middle-Layer of AI; the link between the latest innovations in the field and the newest solutions in the market; that's our ambition, and that's where we're headed.
